Eco Rotary of Kakaʻako Planted Their 10,000th tree on November 18th, 2023!

It started in 2019, in the midst of CoVid, when they helped Associate Professor Camilo Mora from the University of Hawaii Dept. of Geography and Environment in his quest to plant trees.

This year, Ryan Owan and his team used social media and word-of-mouth to spread the word about their reforestation efforts with HLRI and planted 1,000 trees in 2023!  Eco Rotary will be celebrating their achievement at their upcoming Fundraiser Christmas party on Friday, December 15th at the Bishop Museum.
