Honolulu Festival Foundation

The Honolulu Festival is Hawaii’s largest cultural event, promoting understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region.

 The Honolulu Festival Foundation was established in 1995, and nowadays, it has become recognized as an annual event that is being held in March every year.

Our mission - to help promote the mutual cultural understanding, economic cooperation as well as ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim regions.

ホノルルフェスティバルは、ハワイと環太平洋地域の相互文化理解や経済協力、そして各国の人々の強調を奨励するハワイ最大級の文化交流イベントです。民族や世代を超えた心をつなぐ真の交流の輪を広げ、子供達が異文化に触れる場の提供と平和に少しでも貢献できるきっかけとなることを目指しています。皆さまが寄付された金額(コアの木一本$60)のうち、$40は植樹と木の管理に使用され、残りの$20はホノルルフェスティバル財団へと寄付されます。寄付金は、ホノルルフェスティバルの開催地であるハワイのコミュニティと子供達の学習の場の提供として役立てられます。また、世界の恒久平和への願いを込め、ワイキキで打ち上げられる復興のシンボル、長岡花火の実現にも役立てられています。
