Embassy Suites Kapolei Implements Sustainable Practice of Planting Trees with Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative to Make Our Hawaii a Better Place For Our Future Generations
Embassy Suites by Hilton Kapolei is known for ʻfull-service, all suites and for giving their guests more with every stay while incorporating sustainable practicesʻ. “When Embassy Suites Kapolei implemented our Island Conservation fee to help reforest our island home through Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative, it was a win-win situation,” said General Manager Reid Yoshida. “Guests would always ask us how they could ʻgive backʻ to Hawaii because they loved their stay in the islands so much. Now, their donation gift will contribute to the reforestation and preservation of our islands for future generations!”
Guests can combine fun and stewardship of our islands by visiting Gunstock Ranch on the north shore of Oahu to plant their own tree. These sponsored trees are tagged with RFID chips and GPS coordinates and may be tracked through TreeTracker. Our Embassy Suites Kapolei ʻohana (family) and guests are proud to be a part of the change for a better Hawaii and a sustainable earth.
