Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk is planting trees for Hawai‘i.

Hawai‘i is the only place in the United States where tropical rainforests and cloud forests exist. These unique places are unlike any other on Earth. Since the arrival of western man in Hawai‘i, most of these forests have gone extinct.

Embassy Suites and the Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative (HLRI) have partnered to help reforest more than 1,700 acres of historic land on both O‘ahu and Hawai‘i Island. Embassy Suites has committed to the restoration of this pristine ecosystem through the planting of 100,000 Hawaiian Legacy Trees. This Legacy Forest will be home to some of Hawaii’s rarest and most beautiful trees and will become a treasure for this generation and generations to come.

Sponsor your Legacy Tree at the front desk or visit the Legacy Forest in person and plant your own Legacy Tree. Create memories that last a lifetime and give a gift that grows grander year after year.  Together, Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk and its guests will help to restore Hawai‘i’s environment and we invite you to join in.

“Every day you make a difference in the world around you.

You have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
